You may be familiar with popular dating apps like Tinder or OKCupid that help you find the love of your life by swiping left or right on various local profiles. But what if you can find a site that helps you find personalized apps for your smartphone that you can use for all the other areas of your life? AppMatch claims to do just that by helping you narrow down the millions of choice available from iTunes and the Google Play Store. You may have read other AppMatch reviews online already. But if you want the full scoop on this brand new discovery app platform, including all the complaints, then read on.

What Is AppMatch?

AppMatch.com is a discovery app site that matches people with apps that they might like. The site was co-founded by Dana Breen and Daniel Wilkinson in 2017. The company's headquarters are located in Santa Cruz, California.

How Does AppMatch Work?

Users fill out a 5 minute questionnaire on the company's website using their Android or Apple smartphone device to get matched with apps they might enjoy using. The recommendations are personalized based on the answers you give. Each question features three to five answers for you to choose from. The site also features various categories with quizzes to help you locate apps you might enjoy. You can skip any questions you don't want to answer.

Once you are matched with apps, you can choose to reject a recommendation by swiping left on your device or saving it by swiping right. Each recommendation features a short description of what the app is all about. You can choose to either save the app to your account to visit later or go directly to installing the app on your device. If you want to get paid for downloading apps you should consider Swagbucks.com

How Much Does AppMatch Cost?

AppMatch is totally free to use. You can create a free account on the website after completing the initial questionnaire by using your Facebook account information. The recommended apps are both free and paid versions. You can select to choose only free apps in the navigation menu settings.

What We Like About AppMatch

Free to Use: There is no cost to use the platform. You also do not need to create an account if you don't want.

User-Friendly: The site is easy to use with no distracting elements. You are guided quickly through the process of finding new apps and the fonts are easy on the eyes.

Entertaining Questions: You won't find boring survey questions using the platform. There is an eclectic mix of both serious questions and ones that will make you laugh.

AppMatch Complaints

Smartphone Only: You must have an smartphone in order to use the website. You cannot answer the questionnaire to get matches on any desktop computer, laptop, or even tablet.

Trouble With Matches: After answering the questions and taking a few quizzes, there were no matches any apps I might love or want to use. With the thousands of apps that are out there, you would think there were more recommendations.

No App Download:  The platform is a discovery app that cannot be downloaded as an actual app on your smartphone device. iTunes does not allow discovery apps so you have to access the company's service using a web browser. Did you know you can get paid for downloading apps with Swagbucks.com?

Beta Status: At the time of this review this service is still under development so there may be a few glitches now and then. There were not many apps available on the platform when we tested it. But that may change by the time you read this review.

No BBB Profile: The company does not have a profile listing on the Better Business Bureau website. Therefore, it is hard to tell if customers have had any complaints and how the company's customer service responded.

Contains Strong Language: The questions and answers on the platform contain strong adult language. This isn't a problem for most people but you should be aware of it if you have an issue with “cussing”. The site will ask a question at the beginning about your preference for adult language so you can eliminate swearing in future questions and answers if you desire.
