What Is MyIDCare?
MyIDCare found online at MyIDCare.com is an identity theft protection and monitoring service based in Portland, Oregon. The company is part of IDExperts – a financial services and identity protection company headquartered at 10300 SW Greenburg Rd Ste 570, Portland, OR 97223-5416 in the US.
How Does MyIDCare Work?
MyIDCare monitors the use of your personal information across several data points. If there’s suspicious activity, MyIDCare sends you actionable alerts. If you become a victim of identity theft or fraud, they assign you a recovery expert to help recover your identity and secure your information.

Dedicated Recovery Experts – They’ll assign you a dedicated contact person to follow up on alerts and help you solve cases. This feature includes consultation, scam alerts and protection advice and a fully-managed U.S-based identity recovery.

MyIDCare Complaints
MyIDCare looks all good, up until you run into issues. So here are some of the complaints we found about the service.
Payment issues – We came across a couple of customer reviews claiming they were never notified of price increments, just the charge in their statement. So allegedly they change prices on the fly if what these customers are saying is true.
No trial period – The company doesn’t offer a risk-free program for their identity theft protection services. You’ll need to pay the monthly fee in full to access the features. Unlike other identity protection services like IDShield, with MyIDCare you’ll be going all in from the start.
What’s your refund policy? – We couldn’t find any information about MyIDCare’s refund policy. So its unclear if you’ll get your money back if you’re not satisfied with the service.
What Identity Theft Protection Is Best?
All identity theft protection services have their advantages and drawbacks. So you’ll need to determine which services and features are most important to you. You can then pick the most affordable based on your needs. At the end of the day, you should consider the most important factors including the price, insurance amount, available features, trial program and their refund policy.
Is MyIDCare Worth It?
MyIDCare is legit, with the majority of their customers having good things to say about the service. They also have an excellent BBB rating which is reassuring to some. However, it’s hard to overlook the fact that they don’t offer a trial period. In addition, at the time of writing there’s no refund policy information that we could find. So it’s up to you to determine whether the service is worth your time and money.
Well, that’s my MyIDCare review. Would you use the service? Feel free to chime in your thoughts in the comments section below. If you still need more questions answered, you can visit their FAQs section here.
