It seems nowadays that companies will do just about anything to get your attention while shopping online. This includes giving you free stuff. But this is the internet we’re talking about and you’d be an idiot to take their word for it. If you are here, you probably heard that you can shop for free or buy heavily discounted items on Amazon using Snagshout. But maybe you feel that some of the Snagshout reviews aren't telling you the whole truth about the company. 

Well we decided to digger deeper into this company to learn if there is any dirt. So if you think you can handle the truth, you’ll enjoy this Snagshout review!

What Is Snagshout?

Snagshout found online at Snagshout.com is a cashback company that connects buyers like you and I with Amazon sellers who offer free or heavily discounted products in exchange for honest reviews on Amazon. Snagshout was founded by its current CEO Paul Johnson in 2015 and they are currently headquartered at 12402 N Division St STE 272, Spokane, WA 99218 USA. 

How Does Snagshout Work?

First, you'll need to sign up as a shopper on Snagshout by verifying your email and confirming your phone number. Then you’ll click on a link and verify your Amazon account. You may then browse through the different products offered on Snagshout. 

If you identify deals you may want to get, you can click the “Snag It” button on the product’s page. A coupon code will appear first and then you’ll be redirected to Amazon.com. You’ll then need to use that Snag coupon code during checkout, and pay for the item’s full price first. 

Once the order has been processed by Amazon, you’ll need to go back to your Snagshout account in the “Manage Orders” area and confirm the order. You’ll then forward the Order Confirmation email sent by Amazon to Snagshout. You have 1 hour to confirm the order otherwise you won’t get your cashback. After that, you should receive the cashback associated with what you bought assuming you followed the steps correctly. 

You can then leave an honest review on Amazon once you get your products. As a rule Snagshout requires you to disclaim at the end of your comment that you received the item for free or at a discount in exchange for your honest feedback. 

What Stores Does Snagshout Work With?

At the time of writing this review Snagshout appears to be working exclusively with Amazon.com to help you save money. That said, did you know you can also earn cashback using sites like SwagBucks.com and Rakuten.com? The best part is you’ll not be limited to just Amazon. Unlike this and other similar Amazon deals websites, Swagbucks and Rakuten also offer cashback, rebates, deals, offers and coupons from several other popular stores in addition to Amazon. 

What Products are Available On Snagshout?

At the time of writing this review, you’ll find fast-moving everyday essentials like skincare, health and beauty products, multivitamins, gadgets, small electronics, phone accessories, car accessories and toys. You’ll also find jewelry, clothing and home improvement items like gardening tools and decor lights. These items fall within the $0-$50 range. An easy way of landing a deal instead of browsing through hundreds of products would be on their social media as something of interest may pop up.

How & When Do I Get My Snagshout Cashback?

Snagshout says they pay their cashback deals 30 days after your order has been confirmed. Your total will be sent via PayPal under your Snagshout email address. So be sure to use your PayPal email address while signing up for Snagshout. If you want them to send your cashback to a different email address, you’ll need to add your Snagshout email as a secondary email on PayPal. 

How Do I Get Started With Snagshout?

Joining Snagshout is free. All you need is an email address, phone number, Amazon account and a PayPal account. You can start shopping straight away once you verify everything as required.

Getting free or heavily discounted items from this Amazon discount site sounds great. But I bet you get the feeling that this is too good to be true. Well, we rounded up a couple of complaints that will help you determine whether it’s worth the effort. 

Are These Opinions Really Honest? – There are concerns that the reviews from incentive-based review Amazon discount sites may be influenced by other factors besides real and honest reviews by customers. Some say the buyers only post positive comments since they’re being rewarded, and these comments may not be entirely true. You may find such cases on Snagshout's social media pages.

The Process Can Be Lengthy and Tiresome – The process from identifying a product to getting your cashback involves several steps and a 30-day waiting period. In addition, you can only use one coupon code per product, and you’ll need to follow the same process for each. So you can imagine how long it will take you if you’re buying several products in one sitting. This, according to some, is quite a lengthy procedure to save money. Fortunately there are other easier ways to earn cashback, deals and offers online using sites like SwagBucks.com and Rakuten.com. 

You Get What You Pay For – Reports suggest that the items on Snagshout are cheap items from unknown companies. Some customers say some products, especially electronics, even though heavily discounted or free, turn out to be junk you wouldn’t use anyway. So keep in mind that you’re getting what you pay for. 

No BBB Profile – At the time of writing this review, Snagshout doesn’t have a profile with the Better Business Bureau. So it’s up to you to determine whether you can live with that. 

Is Snagshout Legit or A Scam?

Snagshout is not a scam, having been around since 2015 with no serious claims against them so far. Besides the lengthy process and some products of questionable quality, all seems to be legit with the company. It’s a genuine way to get free or heavily discounted items on Amazon. They remind me of Rebatest that pretty much works the same as using Snagshout

That being said, you can also earn cashback and real money when shopping online using sites like Rakuten.com and Swagbucks.com, where you’ll not be limited to shopping on Amazon only.
