Tuft & Needle Mattress Products and Features

Tuft & Needle stocks two types of mattresses; the T&N and the Mint.

The T&N

The T&N simply combines a 3-inch proprietary adaptive foam layer above a 7-inch support foam wrapped inside a rayon and polyester cover. These 10” mattresses come in industry-standard shapes and sizes.

The Mint

The Mint sounds like an improvement of the T&N with a Graphite layer for cooling, open-cell foam technology for breathability and better edge support.

They also stock pillows, protectors, duvet covers, frames, box foundations and pouches.

Tuft & Needle Mattress Complaints

No company is perfect, and you probably know that if you’ve ever fell for marketing hype. Well, there are a few complaints we thought you might want to know about.

“Buyer Beware! It Doesn’t Last That Long!”

A few customers say it only takes a year for the mattress to develop sag and you’ll probably get the fallout on your lower back in the morning. Others say they woke up feeling more tired than they were the previous night. I’ll be damned!

“Would you please crank up the AC?”

Some customers felt that the Tuft & Needle mattress was too warm for their liking, especially during hot and humid summer nights. You may need to bump up the AC or get the Mint mattress  which doesn’t seem to have that problem.

There are of course mattresses in-a-box alternatives you can get if you don’t like what you’ve just read. Casper and Leesa are a good place to start.  You can actually find great deals on either of these alternatives on Amazon.com.

Should you buy Tuft & Needle Mattress or not?

Tuft & Needle appears to be way above the average mattress in the box company. They tend to keep things simple with their choices. Their company has been around longer than most mattress in a box companies and they have maintained a positive BBB rating. All of this seems to help them be one of the most popular bed in a box companies. They also have a near-perfect rep across the board, with just a handful of customers having something negative to say about them. All in all, they deserve a thumbs-up.
