Vipon found online at Vipon.com is a website and app that enables you get coupons, offers and more on your Amazon purchases. The company was previously known as AMZ Review Trader before rebranding to Vipon in 2016 after Amazon updated its Terms of service around product reviews. It’s not clear who founded the company at the time of writing. 

How Does Vipon Work?

So basically, Amazon sellers share deals and coupons for a wide selection of products. Discounts start at 50% off to upwards of 90% off for a product. Vipon then publishes the best deals they get from serious sellers, and finally Amazon shoppers get to enjoy these discounts.

So if you find the item listed, just click on it and you’ll be redirected to your Amazon account. The coupon code or offer will be automatically applied during checkout. Alternatively, you can just browse through thousands of products listed on Vipon and follow the same procedure to get discounts on them. 

For Sellers

If you’re an Amazon seller and would want to list your items on Vipon, all you have to do is sign up for a plan, each with a certain number of products you can promote in one market. The plans include:

• $800/mo – Enterprise Plus – 120 Product promotions per market

You can join, upgrade, downgrade or cancel at any time, and the minimum discount you can offer is 50%.

If you’ve spent money on the internet before, then you know better than to skip this section. So here are a couple of complaints that may help you decide whether Vipon is worthwhile or a waste of time.

It’s exclusive to Amazon shopping – Unlike SwagBucks.com and Rakuten.com, with Vipon you’re restricted to just one online shop – Amazon.com. 

Don’t fill up your cart – There are reports from users that if you add more than one item to your cart, the codes probably won’t work and you may end up paying full price. So you’ll want to pay for one item at a time for the offer to apply without a hitch in the end. 

No BBB Rating – At the time of writing, Vipon is not listed with the Better Business Bureau. So it’s up to you to decide whether that’s the kiss of death or not.

Obviously there are things you’re bound not to like about Vipon, so it only makes sense to explore other options as well.

Vipon is not a scam. It’s a real way to get discounts if you’re a big Amazon customer. It’s also free to use so you have nothing to lose by using the service. Again, Amazon.com is obviously a well trusted and respected store, so you don’t expect quality problems with your purchase. But keep in mind you’re basically shopping for heavily discounted Amazon products, there’s no cashback involved. All the same, it’s an awesome way to save money if you’re a regular Amazon shopper.
