Anthropologie Refund & Return Policy
With online shopping, things go wrong all the time. But you want to shop where you’re comfortable that you won’t lose money in case you find yourself in that situation.
With Anthropologie, you have 60 days to claim your money. Otherwise you’ll have to settle for store credit if you make a return after 60 days. They claim they’ll give you a prepaid return label if you ordered within the United States. For international customers they’ll give you a printable shipping address label but you’ll have to pay for return shipping.
However any returned items must be unworn, untorn, undamaged with all the labels intact. Furniture should be addressed to their warehouse 537 Archdale Blvd, Archdale, NC 27263. They claim refunds take between 1-3 weeks to process and should reflect in your original payment method in 3 days after processing. In case you need an exchange, it will cost you $149 shipping and you must contact them first.
You can’t return anything marked as a specialty item. These include innerwear, swimsuits, pierced ornaments and the like if you removed the hygiene seal. You can read all about their returns policy here.

Anthropologie Customer Service
This is the internet folks, so it's always good to know someone got your back in case you need something sorted out. Well Anthropologie says you can reach to them via phone on either 800-309-2500, 800-732-2306 or 800-362-4073, 8 a.m. – 11 p.m. ET, Monday through Saturday. You can also hit them up on Live Chat or email at any time. They say they respond to emails within 48 hours.
Anthropologie Coupons or Promo Codes
Anthropologie offer coupons and promo codes on their website from time to time. But why sit around waiting for discounts when sites like SwagBucks.com give you cash, gift cards and coupons for doing just about anything you already do online? You can then use what you earn to shop on Anthropologie or elsewhere. Or you can use Rakuten.com or shop on Amazon.com and save tons of money shopping for similar items Anthropologie sells.
Anthropologie Complaints
The pain of losing money cuts deep, especially when you know you would have done something to avoid it. Well, I bet you’ve been looking forward to reading the complaints about Anthropologie. So we dug them up and we’ll leave you to decide whether it’s worth your time or not.
Good luck getting a refund
Everything sails through while shopping at Anthropologie until you need your money back. Some customers have claimed Anthropologie look for the lamest reasons to keep your money. If for any reason they feel your case is not convincing to them, chances are they may still keep your money. They may also feed you some technical jargon to avoid settling disputes. You can send them screenshots, documentation or any sort of proof to back up your case and still not get your money back.
Awful customer service
Several customers say the Anthropologie’s customer service is the worst they’ve ever dealt with. Some reps are rude, others will either hang up on you or simply not bother to follow up on your case. You’ll have to fight tooth and nail to the bitter end to get issues such as shipping, wrong items, returns and refunds resolved. The case gets worse for international clients who can’t make their way to one of their physical stores for a one-on-one.
Negative BBB
If you live and die by the Better Business Bureau ratings, Anthropologie’s has a negative rating at the time of this review.
Anthropologie Alternatives
Perhaps the risk of fighting to get a refund from terrible customer service may compel you to look elsewhere. Fortunately you don’t have to worry about any of that on Amazon.com where you get to shop for quality stuff at affordable prices, and the customer service doesn’t suck.
Is Anthropologie Safe?
I wouldn’t call Anthropologie a scam, but they really have to clean up their act. It seems they fall short where it matters most. With terrible customer service you’re never really sure your money is safe in case something goes wrong.
With that said, perhaps you are better off shopping on more reliable sites like Amazon.com with reliable customer service and affordable and fast deliveries with the FREE Guaranteed Amazon Prime Delivery. You can also save a whole bunch of cash when you shop online using sites like Rakuten.com. Again, if you’re all about saving money while shopping online, you can earn cash and gift cards on SwagBucks.com doing the things you do online. You can then use what you earn to shop on Anthropologie or elsewhere.
Well that’s my Anthropologie review. If you still have questions about Anthropologie, you can read their FAQs page here. In any case, feel free to chime in your thoughts on the comments section below.
Until next time
