If you are still trying to figure out whether it’s worth your time or not, we have rounded up everything you need to know about the company including whether they are a scam or not in this Fashionmia review.
What is Fashionmia?
Fashionmia.com is an online clothes store that sells women’s and men’s fashion apparel including dresses, shirts, shoes, tops, bottoms and other accessories. The online retailer started in 2012 and is currently headquartered in San Leandro, California although little is known of who owns the business.
Fashionmia Prices
The most popular items on the website are women’s clothes, shoes and accessories and price varies depending on style and type of clothing. Let’s take a closer look at Fashionmia’s prices
Women’s Items
The best selling women’s clothing including maxi, skater, evening and cocktail dresses go for anywhere between $20 and $40. You can get others for as less as $10 and upwards of $40.
Bodycon
Again, the most popular bodycons are priced at anywhere between $20 and $30, although you can also get others for as little as $10 and as much as $40.
Tops
Tops including t-shirts, blouses, v-necks, lingerie and knitwear are priced anywhere between $10 and $40 with the most expensive items not exceeding $100.
Outerwear
Hoodies, trench coats, sweaters, blazers, jackets, waistcoats and capes gofor anywhere between $10and $80 depending on style and detail. At the moment, the highest priced item under this category was an $80 white fur coat.
Bottom Wear
Suits, co-ords, pants, jeans and skirts are priced anywhere between $10 and $40, but with the ongoing offers and discounts, you can get an item for less than $10.
Plus-size
Rarely will you find a plus-size dress with a $60 price tag. Plus-size items include body-cons, shift dresses, flared, midi and maxi dresses. There are a few random plus-size items going for less than $10.
Accessories
Women’s accessories include scarves, shoes, gloves, cosplay, jewelry, bags, hats, belts and ties. Pricing on accessories varies with material, style and of course the item itself. At the moment, the highest priced item was an $80 handbag. Hats, belts, ties and gloves rarely cross the $20 mark. The cheapest shoes including heels and boots go for anywhere between $10 and $40.
Men’s Clothing and Accessories
Men’s clothing are almost priced the same as women’s, with the most expensive clothes being trench coats, shoes, hoodies, jackets and accessories valued at anywhere between $40 and $75.
Mind you, most of these items have an offer or discount attached to them. However, rarely will you find socks, wallets, hats or belts going for more than $10.
Fashionmia Refund & Return Policy
It’s always good to know where you stand in case something is wrong with your order. Fashionmia gives a 30 day allowance for refunds or exchanges. Just make sure the product still has its original packaging and is not used or damaged.
Items under the ‘’specials’’ category can neither be returned nor refunded. Swimwear can only be returned if damaged or defective or if you received the wrong item.
Returns can be sent to Tranplus Union Inc, 20515 Walnut Drive, Walnut, CA. If you’d wish to cancel an order, Fashionmia has a 24 hour limit otherwise your cancellation request will not go through.
Cancellation requests made after the 24 hours allowance but the item has not shipped will be refunded, yes, but they will charge you ‘’15% cancellation fee’’ off the cost of the item. If the order has shipped then tough luck; you will have to pay for the item.

Fashionmia Shipping
The estimated delivery time depends on a few factors including the shipping address, courier service you chose and how fast they can wrap up your order. Processing takes 3-5 business days, then the item will probably spend 5-7 days on transit. If that seems too long to way, you can shop at Amazon.com and get 1-2 day free shipping. To be fair, Fashionmia does offers free shipping. But you must order a minimum of $79 and above.
At the end of the day, there’s no guarantee that the order will arrive in less than a week. Typically Fashionmia orders take 10-20 days to arrive depending on the destination. Ouch!
You can check the status of your package using the tracking number which is sent to your mail 2-3 days after you’ve placed your order.

Cost of shipping depends on the courier service you choose, the final destination, the number of items you’ve ordered and the total weight of your order. Where's my shit?
Apparently to many customers, Fashionmia cannot be trusted. Some have complained that they will take your money and pretend like nothing happened. You will sit and wait until the cows come home for your order but it never does. When you contact customer service for assistance, they will either feed you some technical bullshit or extend blame to the mailing service. Uh what?
This is not what I ordered!
For those of you that do actually receive an order FashionMia, you can expect that either the clothes don’t fit or they are of poor quality. Well that probably explains why so many of their clothes are so cheaply priced. I would like to say this is an anomaly but unfortunately we came across hundreds of reviews about this actually.
Don’t order if you are shipping overseas
Apparently you can have problems tracking your order if you are ordering from overseas. One slight mistake on your end and you may never get your order. They don’t even try to help you, all they do is refer you back to the shipping company. This normally happens with expedited orders.
Negative BBB
This is only goes to confirm what Fashionmia has been up to. We actually came across not one, not two, but three Fashionmia listings with the Better Business Bureau. All three are an F at the time of writing this review. There’s simply no telling what can happen if you decide to buy from Fashionmia.
Fashionmia Alternatives
Shopping online should be fast and convenient. At this point given what you read, you are obviously asking whether there’s an alternative to Fashionmia. Well, you can shop stress-free on on Amazon.com and get FREE guaranteed Amazon Prime free 1-2 day delivery. You also have better customer service and return policy.
Does Fashionmia Really Work?
Hundreds of customers would argue that it doesn't and it should be avoided. They have more negative than positive reviews from customers. According to their customers, Fashionmia rips people off, and does a hell of a job extending blame to the shipping companies.
At the end of the day, it’s all up to you to decide. Personally I wouldn't shop at Fashionmia when you can always get similar items on Amazon.com from trusted retailers with better service. The cheap prices are appealing but if you are all about deals and coupons you can get great ones at Swagbucks.com where you can earn free gift cards and cash. Furthermore you can earn for shopping. So there are other ways to get cheap clothing without getting scammed.

Yeah, don’t be fooled just by the way a website looks. Anyone can build a pretty looking website nowadays. You want to focus more on how they treat their customers. So it’s always good to do your research. And obviously I agree Amazon is a safe bet. They’re not perfect either but I feel more safe there as well.
I really hate these shops that pop up and have no idea what customer service is. I love shopping through Amazon Prime because I find everything so much cheaper. Also they let you return things for free, and most things have a satisfaction guarantee. I trust it so much more. Thanks for the heads up on this one.

I’m sooooo sick of these scam sites. I think that it is probably the lowest form of theft possible – stealing without even facing your victim. Spineless to say the least! Keep up the good fight!

The problem with these numerous online shopping platform is that they are never reliable , Their customer services is very poor and they don’t keep to their word. I could remember one certain time I made one purchase from one new online store, it took ages to arrive. I taught I have been scammed but it later arrived.

Just another sorry company in a long line of companies. I’ve ordered online from a couple discount sites and what you get is certainly not the quality of what is shown in the photos. And 2 of those sites are actually pretty prevalent online. And for the price of the clothes & the return shipping, it’s not even worth returning them. I usually end up donating them. We live in a very small town & have either Walmart or a couple (expensive) boutiques to choose from so we do a lot of online shopping. Thanks for the review. Horrible customer service and unworthy products
Fashionmia is an online apparel store that should be banned. They have NO customer service. Their phone lines are never received by a human but by message machines. The email customer service reps promise refund in so many days and never deliver. I am JUST SICK SICK SICK of the service. Their products have glossy pictures but when you receive after 3-5 weeks later, the material is so CHEAP that you won’t want to wear. It was altogether a big mistake and waste of time. Stay away from this vendor. It’s not worth it.

Definitely Buyer Beware
This would be a negative star review if that were possible. I took a chance and shouldn’t. Materials are poor quality, items aren’t quite as pictured, sizing isn’t as according to chart.
Good luck with your refund, I’m 30-days out and still waiting and they are NOT helpful and absolutely do give you the runaround. What a headache. I doubt I will ever get my refund on an item I returned on time, never worn, paid shipping back, tracked it and verified the receipt of it by their company.
