Shopping online can be a gift or curse. You can save a lot of money but you can get scammed if you shop at a shady store. Chances are you know this and that's why you're going through some Missguided reviews online.
Well we have everything you need to know in our Missguided Review below. Don't shop with this company until you read it. You've been warned!
What is Missguided?
Missguided.com is an online store that sells women’s clothes, shoes and accessories. The company was founded in 2009 by Nitlin Passi and they are currently headquartered at 75 Trafford Wharf Road, Manchester, United Kingdom. They also have warehouses in the US, Ireland and a few other countries in Europe.
Missguided says they sell women’s clothing for ages 16-35, all priced differently. With that in mind, let’s take a look at a few examples.
Clothes including dresses and formal wear start from $12 a piece, while tops go for $20 on average. Pants go for $25 give or take, while things like bikinis and lingerie barely cross the $20 mark. You can find accessories, workout and activewear for as little as $15 and casuals for $30 on average. Shoes go for $50 but you can find sandals and heels for as little as $20.
They say standard shipping to the US is free on orders above $60, otherwise it will cost you $5 and your order will take 5-7 business days to arrive. Express shipping costs $8 and takes 2-3 business days. Same case applies to Canada.
They don’t have a next day delivery option unless you’re in the UK where it costs $6.45 if you spend anything less than $100. Does this sound too expensive? You may better off shopping on Amazon.com were you get FREE Guaranteed 1-2 Day Amazon Prime Delivery.
Missguided Refund & Return Policy
You have 28 days to claim a refund from Missguided. Just make sure you haven’t used the item and the packaging, labels and tags are all intact. To return things like pierced jewelry, swimwear, cosmetics and such, make sure you don’t remove the hygiene seals, you know, for hygiene reasons. Either way they’ll give you a returns form for all that, or you can download one on the website. You can then wait for your refund for at least 10 days. You can read all about shipping and returns here.
Missguided Customer Service
They say if you have an issue, you can reach out to Missguided customer service either through their site’s Live Chat or on FaceBook, and Twitter day or night. They claim you’ll get a response within an hour.
Do You Want This Or Any Product For FREE?
Coupon, Discount and Promo codes are cool to save some money when you shop. But FREE is way better. Click here to learn how you can get this and all products for FREE online and offline. Why pay anything at all if you don't have to? Don't worry this doesn't involve doing anything shady. This shopping hack uses a company that is listed with the Better Business Bureau. So it's totally legit. Check it out here.
Missguided Coupons or Promo Codes
You can find Missguided coupons and promo codes on the website or other sources around the web. But perhaps a better way of getting discounts and cashback is through a site like Ebates.com. Or you can also try Swagbucks.com which will help you earn free gift cards and cash for things you do online.
Getting scammed on the internet is never a good feeling. So you should be careful. Well, this is the part of the review which can help you avoid being a victim. So here are a few things you may not like about this company.
Horrible Customer Service
Apparently their customer service can be terrible at handling money issues. Some customers say these guys will ignore you on live chat if you bring up refund issues, or take forever to answer direct messages on social media. Don’t even bother using email, several customers claim they never got a response. You’ll have to press hard or escalate your case to a manager to get a worthy response.
Lame Delivery Issues
When you order something on Missguided, make sure you follow up on it closely. That’s because orders get lost all the time, they deliver to wrong addresses and express shipping can take weeks to arrive.
Based on the numerous complaints about deliveries and refunds, it’s no surprise that their rating with the Better Business Bureau is an F at the time of this review. I know for some of you that is simply a deal breaker.
You may not be a big fan of some of the complaints against Missguided listed above. Fortunately there are other options such as SwagBucks.com or Ebates.com which links you to other similar stores that pay you cash back for shopping with them. You can also look into Amazon.com which are well known for their customer service and great prices and discounts.
Is Missguided A Scam?
Missguided is not a scam. They’ve been around for a decade now and most customers are happy with the company. But you may have to deal with a terrible customer service if you need your money back. That’s actually if your order reaches your doorstep in the first place.
That said, you can find similar affordable clothing options at Amazon.com. This helps you avoid bad customer service and lame delivery issues at Missguided. Shopping on Amazon can also help you take advantage of the FREE guaranteed two-day Amazon Prime Delivery.
Ultimately if you enjoy getting the best deals anywhere, you may want to check out EBates.com for cashback when you shop and coupons. Swagbucks.com is another site to consider since it allows you to earn free cash and gift cards for things that you already do online. You can then use the free cash and gift cards you earn anywhere and essentially get items for free.
Well, that’s my two cents about Missguided.com. Do you have an experience with Missguided or any other online store for that matter? Drop us your thoughts on the comments section below! If you still can't find what you're looking for in this review, check out their FAQs page here.
