SammyDress Review: Is It A Legit Shopping Website?

I love shopping online, but the thought of being taken for a ride by some of these online stores pisses me off. You probably feel the same way which is probably why you're going through a couple of SammyDress reviews to know what they are all about. Well we'll lay out the good, bad and ugly about SammyDress.com. Unfortunately it's not always pretty. So let's get into it.

What is SammyDress?

Sammydress.com is a global  fashion website that claims to sell high quality men’s, women’s and kids apparel and accessories at factory-direct and wholesale prices. Apparently SammyDress is headquartered in China, with local offices in Cucamonga, CA 91730-5563 and San Jose, CA 95131. At this point in time we don’t know who owns the company.

SammyDress Prices

SammyDress takes pride in being able to sell stuff at wholesale prices. But are they really that cheap? Let’s take a look.

Women’s items

Women’s clothes average $30, with the best selling items going for anywhere between $10 and $20. Women’s accessories including weaves, belts, scarves, bags, watches, make-up items and such are priced anywhere between $1 and $500. You can find women’s shoes for as little as $10 or less.

Men’s Items

The most popular men’s clothes on SammyDress including hoodies, jackets, t-shirts, pants and overcoats, going for not less than $3 and not more than $50. Men’s shoes are priced at anywhere between $10 and $100 but you won’t find shoes under $10 unless they are on offer. You can find all sorts of men’s accessories for as little as $20.

Jewelry

Women’s jewelry sell for anywhere between $10 and $500, with the most popular luxury items averaging $50. Men’s jewelry on the other hand average $30, but you can get hand-made and custom-made pieces for as little as $10.

Children’s Items

Kids’ items including clothes, shoes and toys barely cross the $50 mark, with most items priced under $20. A good number of items under this category go for $5 on average.

SammyDress Refund & Return Policy

Before you think about shopping at SammyDress.com you should know their store policies. SammyDress provides a 30-day time frame for returns, as long as the item returned is unused or unworn with original tags and packaging intact. You cannot return any item under the swimwear and lingerie category for obvious reasons. (Yuck! lol) Other items you cannot return include clearance products, discounted items and custom-made orders.

Once you request for a refund, it takes 3-5 days to process this request. They will send you an email if the request goes through. For more on this you can check out their return policy here. SammyDress ships globally, and the buyer pays for shipping, even on returns. Once you place your order, they will send you a tracking number a day or two after your order has shipped. If you order from the USA, Canada and Australia, your item will take up to 14 days to arrive.

Otherwise, if you order from any other region, you might have to wait for up to 30 days, damn! Well, you can avoid all that and shop on Amazon.com and still get FREE guaranteed two-day Amazon Prime delivery.

Expedited shipping takes 3-7 days depending on the shipping service you chose. You can use the following shipping services, among ‘’other international couriers’’.

SammyDress coupons, promo codes and discounts pop up from time to time while browsing their website. You can also get discounts by either registering as a user where they send you promos periodically in your mail. Or you can write a review and earn ‘’S Points’’ which you can redeem for discounts.

But a better a way to get discounts is to use Swagbucks.com which allows you to earn free cash or gift cards for things that you do online. You can use that cash or gift cards to shop at SammyDress. Or you can shop at Amazon.com for similar clothing items at low cost as well.

SammyDress Complaints

Yes, they have cheap stuff, but we can’t dance around the fact that there are some pretty shady things going on at SammyDress we should warn you about. So let's discuss the complaints against SammyDress.com

Negative BBB

At the time of writing this review, SammyDress has a negative rating with the Better Business Bureau. For some of you that's the kiss of death and the review is pretty much over right here. lol

Refund Rip-offs

If you need your money back, brace yourself for a cold night in the woods, especially if you are shipping internationally. It’s almost impossible to get a refund from SammyDress. They actually do respond to these claims, but you’ll just be referred back to their refund policy statement. Really? Who reads that stuff anyway?

You might grow old waiting for your order

They say it takes up to 30 days for international orders. Well… not according to some complaints we came across. Customers have had to wait longer, as if 30 days is not long enough.

What Size Is This?

Apparently come people have complained that the items they have received are not the proper size.  The sizing charts provided by SammyDress.com don't seem to be accurate in some cases according to some customers.

You Get What You Pay For!

Some customers have complained that the quality of the clothing you purchase from SammyDress.com is pretty poor. Well I guess that's how they can offer these items at such a low price.

SammyDress Alternatives

With not so much to write home about its only reasonable that you might want to try out other stores. You can shop at Amazon.com for quality stuff at affordable prices and also get free guaranteed Amazon Prime delivery.

Is SammyDress Safe?

In my opinion, they can do better and I would probably avoid SammyDress.com. However some users have sailed through their shopping experience without a hitch. While others think they are simply a scam. Ultimately you have to read the complaints and decide if it's worth the risk for you or not. Like any company they have happy and angry customers.

That said there are other trusted and proven options like Amazon.com where you have free 1-2 day shipping. So you can avoid some of the long as shipping complaints of SammyDress. And if you really want to get a discount or get paid for shopping you may want to consider joining Swagbucks.com.
