I never try out a new store when shopping online without doing my research because I don’t like giving away my hard earned money. Chances are you’re a smart shopper as well, and it’s probably why you’re going through some PrettyLittleThing reviews to know whether it’s safe to buy from this website.
Well, let me save you some time. We have all the good, the bad and the ugly about this online store. Don’t shop here until you read our shocking PrettyLittleThing review. You’ve been warned!
What is PrettyLittleThing?
PrettyLittleThing found at PrettyLittleThing.com is an online fashion store that sells women’s clothing, shoes, jewelry and other accessories. Remember BooHoo? Well the company acquired PrettyLittleThing in 2016, but PrettyLittleThing has been around since 2011. They are headquartered in the UK, with offices in the US at 640 Airport S. Parkway Suite 300, College Park, GA 30349.
PrettyLittleThing Prices
PrettyLittleThing seems to be all about women’s and girls’ clothing, accessories and jewellery. So with that in mind, let’s take a quick look at a few examples.
Most clothing including dresses, tops, sweats, tights and trench coats go for a little over $50 although there are some priced below $15, depending on style. Swimwear, tops, bottoms, lingerie and outerwear average $20 give or take.
Jewelry barely exceed $100, with earrings, necklaces, bracelets and such averaging $40 a piece although you can find some for as little as $5. Accessories like hats, gloves, sunglasses and belts average $50 a piece, with prices going as low as $5 and as high as $300 depending on quality.
If you like these prices, you can find similar or cheaper on Amazon.com. They even deliver fast with the FREE Guaranteed 1-2 Day Amazon Prime delivery. And if you love coupons and deals when shopping online, you can join sites like Rakuten.com and SwagBucks.com for some of the best deals online.
PrettyLittleThing Refund & Return Policy
It’s always smart to know what would happen in case you end up getting a raw deal. Well, PrettyLittleThing has a 28-day window for returns. If you ordered from the US or Canada and would wish to return your purchase, you can go here and file a ticket. Apparently returns cost $6.95 unless you’re in the UK where it’s free. They say it takes 10 business days to get your refund.
If you’re returning something, make sure it’s unworn, untorn and the original packaging is intact. I guess you already know you can’t return things like inner wear, lingerie, swimwear and the like. Eeew! They also don’t do exchanges, sorry.
PrettyLittleThing Shipping
PrettyLittleThing ships to the US, UK, Ireland, Canada, New Zealand, Australia and France. They don’t say how long they take to process orders, but standard shipping to the US costs $5.99 and can take up to 7 working days. Express shipping costs $14.99 and may take up to 3 working days. Sounds too long a wait? You can order on Amazon.com and get FREE Guaranteed 1-2 Day Amazon Prime Delivery.
That said, once they pack and ship your order, they claim they’ll email you a tracking number in case you need to follow up on it. You can check out all the shipping rates here.
PrettyLittleThing Customer Service
Got beef? You can reach out to customer service via their Twitter handle or Facebook page. You can also email them via an online web form here. They don’t say how long they take to respond but according to Facebook they apparently reply within an hour.
PrettyLittleThing Coupons or Promo Codes
Coupons and promo codes are sometimes available at random on the website. But why sit around wishing for coupons or promo codes when sites like Swagbucks.com and Rakuten.com will help you earn free gift cards and cash for things you do online? You can then use these to shop for free on sites like PrettyLittleThing or anywhere else. Or you can save a whole bunch of cash shopping for similar clothing at Amazon.com.
PrettyLittleThing Complaints
You never know you’re getting scammed up until you actually lose money. So with that in mind, we dug up the dirt on PrettyLittleThing to ensure you don't get scammed. So, here goes!
It’s tough getting refunds
Customers who ordered from PrettyLittleThing say these people are happy to take your money but it’s a total nightmare to get it back if things go left. If you don’t like what they sent, you’ll have to fight for what’s yours which may involve a tedious back and forth with customer service. Some customers have had to wait for months while others just gave up.
Where’s My $h*t!
There have been numerous reports by customers about orders getting delayed or not arriving at all. Some had to wait for weeks, even months to get their issues settled, while others just counted their losses and shopped elsewhere.
Negative BBB
If you pledge your allegiance to the Better Business Bureau, then an F rating may be a deal breaker for you. Maybe you are better off shopping on Amazon.com which has an A+ rating.
PrettyLittleThing Alternatives
Given all the complaints we listed above, it’s only reasonable that you might want to try out other stores. You can shop at Amazon.com for quality stuff at affordable prices and also get FREE Guaranteed Amazon Prime delivery.
Is PrettyLittleThing Safe?
Well PrettyLittleThing is safe, but you may have to count on luck to get your orders in time, and hope everything checks out. But overall I wouldn’t call this store a scam, just slow and annoying with regard to deliveries and refunds.
That said there are other reliable options like Amazon.com where you have FREE Guaranteed 1-2 day shipping. So you can avoid some of the silly complaints of PrettyLittleThing. And if you really want to get a discount or earn money while shopping you may want to consider joining Swagbucks.com and Rakuten.com.
Well, that’s my two cents about PrettyLittleThing. Do you have your own experience with this or any other similar website? Let us know in the comments section below. If you still have questions, be sure to check out their FAQs page.
Until next time

Prettylittlethings are SCAMMERS
Please whatever you do, do not purchase from Pretty Little Things! I purchased a jacket on December 5, 2020. I was suppose to receive the jacket on December 18. While I was waiting for my jacket to arrive, the shipping just stop randomly after December 12. I waited until December 18 the jacket never came. I didn’t receive any updates until I had contacted their Twitter page. I shouldn’t have to contact your support team to find out what happen to my jacket. After I talked to their representative they told me it would arrive on January 7 and because of the delay they would give a refund for shipping. It arrives January 7, I opened it and immediately saw that the strings and stitching were already coming out all over of the jacket but that’s not the worst part the jacket is a size 8 when I clearly ordered a size 4. I contacted customer support immediately to tell them and they told me that a size UK 8 is equivalent to a US size 4. I wouldn’t have had a problem with it except the jacket is way too big on me. There is no way that jacket is a size 4. They also lied to me and told they gave me my refund for shipping when they didn’t. I checked my account multiple times and I even checked today. There’s no point in returning the jacket for a refund. I probably won’t get that either.
