Adore Me Review: Scam Store to Avoid Or Legit?

Back in the day when you wanted to shop, you had to move your butt out the house. But today you don’t even have to get out of bed, thanks to online stores. But such a convenience drags along scams and dirt along with it. You’re probably skeptical about shopping at AdoreMe.com and that’s why you are looking at a couple of Adore Me reviews.

So we looked into everything good, bad and ugly about the store, and based on what we found, we would warn you against shopping on this store before reading this Adore Me Review.

What is Adore Me?

Adore Me found online at www.AdoreMe.com is a New York-based women’s intimates and swimwear store. The company was founded by Morgan Hermand-Waiche in 2012 in New York, US and they are headquartered at 499 7th Ave in New York City.

Adore Me Prices

Bras and panties sell for $24.95 on average while swimwear goes for anywhere between $20 and $50 depending on style and size. Active wear both tops and bottoms fall within the $19-$49 price range while sleepwear and t-shirt bras may set you back $20 on average. Accessories and items in the Gift Store section average $25 a piece.

Adore Me Shipping

Adore Me ships to the U.S, U.K, and some parts of Europe, UAE and Asia. They offer free standard shipping to US customers, then $5.95 flat rate to Canada, $6.95 flat rate to Australia, U.K., UAE, Mexico, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand.

Local shipping in the US takes 3-5 days after a 1-2 Day processing time. Sounds too long? If so, you can shop at Amazon.com from verified sellers and get FREE guaranteed 1-2 day Amazon Prime Delivery. That said, if you’re shipping from any other location, shipping takes 5-10 business days after a 1-2 days processing time. Once you place your order they’ll send you tracking information via email.

Adore Me Refund & Return Policy

Sometimes you may need to return something or get a refund, and that’s normal with online shopping. At the time of this review, Adore Me allows a 30 day window for returns and exchanges. You can go here and fill out your returns form, then repack the entire set you received with all seals and labels intact. Items need to be unworn, untorn and unwashed. You can then use the pre-paid shipping label to mail the order back to them. They claim returns are subject to a $5.95 restocking fee. Tsk tsk!

At the time of writing, Adore Me doesn’t process returns & exchanges for UAE, Mexico, Singapore, Saudi Arabia and New Zealand. Again, it’s not clear how long they take to process refunds. You can read all about shipping and returns here.

You can find Adore Me coupons and promo codes on different sources online. Perhaps the safest and cheapest way to save tons of money while shopping online is to use sites like Swagbucks.com and Rakuten.com where you get cash back, coupons, deals and promos. Adore Me Complaints

Everything sounds easy breezy so far. But if what actual customers are saying is true, chances Adore Me is not everything they claim to be. So let's see what the complaints against Adore Me.

Where’s My $hit?!

We came across several cases of customers either losing orders or having to wait for longer than posted to get your things. Apparently all customer service does is refer you to the courier service used to ship the order for further tracking. They paint the picture of not being accountable for late orders once the item leaves the damn store.

Good luck getting a refund

Refunds are a nightmare with this store. Suppose you place an order and it turns out you don’t like the item, Adore Me won’t refund you full price. You may have to settle for a goddamn store credit or partial refund, including the mandatory $5.95 restocking fee. Tsk tsk.

Average BBB Rating

At the time of writing this review, Adore Me’s rating with the Better Business Bureau is a B-, probably confirming some of the complaints we’ve just mentioned.

Adore Me Alternatives

So if anything above makes you uncomfortable, it's still fine. You have other options in Rakuten.com or Amazon.com that offers FREE guaranteed 1-2 day Amazon Prime Delivery. Adore Me is a legit store, no doubt. But getting a full refund is close to impossible as customers say they were simply offered store credit or partial refund, take it or leave it.

Their products are always of high quality and you don’t have to settle for anything less if you are not happy with your order.
