Beginning Boutique Refund & Return Policy
We’ve all had buyer’s remorse at one point in time so it's good to know what choices are available if something goes wrong. Well, you can return an item you bought from Beginning Boutique within 30 days of your order date. They claim you’ll get a cash refund unless you’re returning an item due to fit, sizing or change of mind.
Apparently refunds take 5 days to process once they get your returned item assuming everything is intact. The item must be in original condition, unworn, unwashed and with all tags and hygiene seals intact.
Australian shoppers get free return shipping, but if you ordered from the USA or Canada, the return shipping cost is on you. You’ll then address your package to Beginning Boutique, Returns Department, PO Box 638, Archerfield Qld 4108, Australia.
For obvious hygiene reasons, here is a list of items you can’t return unless it’s broken or you got the wrong item.
- Piercing jewellery
- Makeup and cosmetic products
- Beauty tools (i.e. make-up brushes, self-tanning applicators etc.)

Good luck getting a refund
It seems you’ll have to fight for your money if you need a refund from Beginning Boutique. They look for petty reasons to keep your money, claiming the item was not returned in its initial condition. With so many complaints regarding this, we can only assume you’ll need lady luck to get a refund from these people.
Poor Customer Service
Customers say the Beginning Boutique customer service won’t budge easily to your demands. Others say they take forever to respond to your claim, and the reply is almost always neither positive nor reasonably quick.
No BBB Profile
Joining the list of other online stores like of Vova, CNDirect and Vivo Barefoot, Beginning Boutique has no Better Business Bureau profile. That may be the kiss of death for some of you.
Beginning Boutique Alternatives
If any of the complaints above made you feel uncomfortable, it’s totally understandable. Fortunately you can shop at Amazon.com for quality stuff at affordable prices and also get FREE Guaranteed Amazon Prime delivery.
Is Beginning Boutique Safe?
I guess you can say Beginning Boutique is safe. But it sounds like getting a refund on returned items may be a pipe dream according to all the complaints we have found online. Most of the time it seems like you’ll have to settle for store credit. So that may rub people the wrong way and why some may consider this store a scam. That’s up for you to decide.

Beginning Boutique Review
Summary
Online shopping is fun and convenient, if you know the scams to avoid. So if you want to know whether Beginning Boutique is the real deal or a scam, read the shocking complaints and be the judge!
Beginning Boutique does not comply with the Australian Consumer Law
I contacted Beginning Boutique about a top that was unworn and had the tags still attached, though one of the birch eyelets was faulty, thus the top was unwearable due to the backing being loop through string, which would have ripped through the faulty hole, making it unwearable. After back and forth emails with the company for over a month, I received hostile and cold replies, stating that I should have known the item was faulty earlier, and that I was not being truthful about the top not being worn. To top it off, Beginning Boutique flat out refused to provide a refund for the faulty item. After escalating the matter to Consumer Affairs who advised of the breaches of section 54 and 55 of the Australian Consumer Law Competition and Consumer Act of 2010, Beginning Boutique have “ghosted” me and will not reply. I have never had such a negative experience with a brand, and warn other fellow consumers that Beginning Boutique does not abide by or respect consumer laws.
