StyleWe Review: Are They Scamming Customers?

It’s a shame that people have to be worried about getting scammed while shopping online. But you don’t have to lose money if you do your research. Chances are you know this and it’s probably why you are reading StyleWe reviews right now. That’s a good call on your part!

That said, there are a couple of shocking truths you may want to know about StyleWe before you shop there, and we have them all in this StyleWe review. So you read along carefully. Don’t say I didn’t warn you!

StyleWe.com is an online fashion store that sells women’s apparel from independent fashion designers. Yang Xingjian founded the company in 2014 and they are currently headquartered in London, UK. 

StyleWe Prices

At StyleWe, designers price their items differently. With that in mind, let’s look at some examples. 

Clothing on average sell for anywhere between $50-100, while shoes can go as high as $70 and as low as $30. Accessories fall within the $10-50 price range while jewelry and all-things-shiny start at $10 to upwards of $100.

You can pay with PayPal, Visa or MasterCard. 

StyleWe Shipping Policy

Safely paying for your order is one thing; actually getting the item and being happy with your buy is another. Anyway, here’s how StyleWe’s shipping works. 

Super Saving shipping to the US and most European countries takes 7-12 business days costing $5 while expedited shipping takes 2-5 business days and that will cost you $12+. These times are subject to 3-5 days processing time, meaning the earliest you can get your item is after 5 business days having parted with $12. You can read all about shipping here.

StyleWe Refund, Exchanges & Return Policy

Having to return an item sucks, but it may be called for if you don’t get what you paid for. In this case, StyleWe provides a 30-day window from the date of purchase for returns and exchanges. To make a return or exchange, just sign in to the website and submit a request. 

You’ll need to provide a reason for the request, and back up your claim with photos of the defective or wrong item. They’ll send you details on how to ship the item back to them. But you’ll have to pay for return shipping. Once they approve your request you’ll either get a refund or exchange within 2 weeks.

Keep in mind you can’t return swimwear, intimates (eew) and items marked as final sale unless the fault was theirs. You can read all about that here.

As we mentioned at the start of this review no one wants to get scammed when shopping online. So, here are some complaints against StyleWe you should be aware of below:

Not What I Ordered

There are several complaints about customers either getting items that look nothing like what’s on the site or getting a totally different item altogether. Remember, you’ll have to pay for return shipping, and at times it may cost you more than the item’s price. It’s unfortunate if that happens to you, but you can avoid all that when you shop on Amazon.com. 

Slow Shipping

A good number of customers complained of delayed shipping, despite the site clearly providing shipping times. Fortunately Amazon offers 1-2 Day FREE Delivery if you're a Prime member if you prefer faster delivery.

Negative BBB Rating

You’ll find similar complaints as the ones we’ve mentioned above on the site’s BBB page. At the time of this review they have an F rating. So if that’s a deal breaker to you, you may want to shop elsewhere. 

StyleWe Alternatives

We included this section so that you don’t have to settle for less when there are more reliable sites out there. With that said, perhaps you’re better off shopping at more reliable sites like Rakuten.com and Amazon.com where you get quality items at an affordable price with endless deals and offers to take on like the FREE 1-2 Day Delivery if you’re a Prime member.
